There are several different types of real estate classes you can take online. If you are already a realtor, you can choose to continue your education with online courses. If you are new to the real estate industry, you can take your sales agent pre-license class online. You can even take a course to receive your broker license if you’re already a real estate sales agent.

Sales Agent Pre-License Course

You have started down the path to a new career, and you want to become a real estate agent. First you need to take your required coursework. Online real estate classes are a great way to take your 120-hour course with greater flexibility and ease. The class will still cover everything you need to know about real estate law, real life situations and prepare you for your exam. You can take these classes at home and can even do coursework on most tablets.

Broker Course

If you are already a real estate sales agent, but you would like to become a principle broker or associate broker, then you need to take a broker course. This course is similar to the one you took to become a real estate agent to begin with in that it covers 120 hours and prepares you for real-world scenarios. These classes provide audio and video as well as review exercises and chapter quizzes. When you have finished this class online, you will schedule your license exam and be on your way to becoming a broker.

Continuing Education

There are several ways you can use online real estate classes to continue your education. There are classes available on fair housing laws, ways you can lose your license, new agent courses, property management and more. You can select to take individual classes or purchase packages that contain, six, nine, 12 or 18 hours of coursework. Continuing your education online provides you with the knowledge you need to become a better real estate agent, all from the comfort of your own home. Online classes allow you to balance your classwork around work and family commitments.

Education Waiver Registration

If you already have your real estate license but have recently moved to a new state, you will need to transfer your licensure via education waiver. There are a variety of online real estate classes available for this purpose. Once you have completed the required coursework, you will be able to schedule your license exam.

Online real estate classes are a great option if you wish to start a new and exciting career in real estate. Even seasoned professionals can benefit from continuing their education with online real estate classes.
