Outdoor heating is a must if you hope to sit outdoors on cooler evenings. Many restaurants pride themselves with their outdoor patios and decks, often designed to take full advantage of the surrounding beauty. It would be a shame if the restaurant owners were not able to take full advantage of this feature; fortunately commercial wall mounted heaters are readily available.

These outdoor heaters are commonly installed high up on a wall or, depending on the construction of the patio, on a support structure. These heaters can be powered by electricity, propane or natural gas and are available in a wide range of styles, sizes and heat output to meet the specific requirements.

There is a very good reason why you see so many of these commercial wall mounted heaters installed in restaurants, bars and other places where the public gathers; they work. These units put out a significant amount of heat, so much so that they can raise the temperature considerably depending on the output. Although different manufacturers produce different products, the best can easily deliver the equivalent of over 20,000 BTU/hour; this type of a heater can raise the temperature in an area of approximately 144 square feet. With this kind of performance you can sit outdoors and enjoy yourself even though it is snowing.

Although commercial wall mounted heaters are primarily designed for commercial spaces, don’t think for one minute that they are less than visually appealing. Modern, well designed outdoor heaters are available in a number of designs and fuels that actually transform your space functionally and aesthetically.

In a commercial establishment comfort for the patrons must be coupled with safety. In the event the flame on gas fired wall mounted heaters should go out, it is of the utmost importance that the flame is either instantly reignited or, in the event of a propane gas bottle should run out for example; a safety valve must instantly shut off the heat flow.

Wall mounted heaters do not have to be intrusive; today frosted infrared tubes produce a warm amber glow. As the units are designed for outdoor use they naturally are produced with a corrosion resistant finish that protects the unit from the elements but at the same time can withstand the high heat output.

If your guests are important to you then you owe them the best in service, the best in food and the best in comfort and ambiance.
