When training at the gym or on the track for a competition, you need to know you’re working yourself in the right way. You need to keep in mind what type of competition you’re entering and train the right areas. By using the right performance training equipment, you can improve areas of your body which more general workouts cannot. From sports such as football and basketball to track and field events, like 100 meter dash and pole vaulting, you need to train the right areas to give you the edge, and not come second place.

Agility:

There’s a massive selection of agility improving performance training equipment on the market. Choose yours wisely. They don’t all train the same section of agility. For example, reaction belts obviously won’t make you quicker when it comes to catching a ball, so think about which aspect of agility your sport incorporates. Find the right piece of equipment for you and use it in every workout. Some pieces can even be used when you have a free 5 minutes break. Wait on one foot. You might look a bit silly, but if you force yourself to do these things every day, it will have a great impact to your in game performance. You can also try using a stability ball either while working out or simply sitting on it in the office. While working out, you can get great results to strengthen your core muscles. While sitting on it at work, you will keep your core constantly working, giving you that extra edge when performing.

Flexibility:

How flexible you are can determine lots of outcomes in most sports, from being able to move your arm further back to catch a ball to how fast you can move your leg in a different direction. These all can make affect your ability to win. Try using some flexi-elastics to train your shoulders and legs, for instance. Do some research into performance training equipment to know what’s good for you.
