The pressure transducer is designed to provide pressure measurements for applications in fields including medical, aviation, automotive, and oilfield industries. If you’re looking for the right pressure measuring device for your field of work then contacting a local engineering firm with a focus on pressure transducers, data acquisition systems and signal conditioning equipment.
There are all kinds of pressure transducer models available to meet your application’s specific need.
P398 Low Pressure Transducer
The P398 low pressure transducer is ideal for the medical industry. It is a DC power/DC signal transducer. It is designed to be used for low differential pressure measurement in OEM applications. It has a full scale range down to ±0.8 psid. It is used for the measurement of low flow rates of air and gases for pulmonary and HVAC applications.
The P393 has convenient custom configuration for low cost OEM applications. Those include FS pressure range, power supply voltage, output signal, pressure port, and operating temperature range.
DP45 Low Pressure Variable Reluctance Sensor
The DP45 low pressure variable reluctance sensor is a very low differential pressure transducer for low pressure measurement in the order of ±1 inch water column. This transducer is used in connection with flow measurements and particularly ones where dynamic response at low rates is a must.
The unique design of the DP45 allows operators to take it apartment for cleaning, diaphragm replacement, or even changing the transducer range. Changing the transducer range is done by using a different sensing diaphragm.
This transducer is typically used with carrier demodulator. Features for the DP45 include low range ±0.6 to 90 in. H2O FS, low internal volume, symmetrical construction, small volumetric displacement, and high natural frequency.
Which Pressure Transducer is Needed?
If you’re not sure what type of transducer is needed for your particular application, then call a local engineering firm that specializes in pressure transducers and sensors.
Customer service team members should be skilled in the transducer products of the company and be able to match you and your application to the right transducer. Once one is found, request a trial or sample to determine if it is what you’re looking for. Also make sure technical support is readily available should you need it.
