Students in India with a career goal of becoming a doctor often look outside the country for a medical college or university. Completing an MBBS in India can be very difficult given the low number of seats and the high number of hopeful students writing the NEET exam each year.

Medical colleges and universities around the world recruit Indian students. However, not all international colleges and universities have the necessary MCI approval, accreditation, and programs to allow the graduate to return to India or the USA and work as doctors.

Only a foreign medical graduate who is eligible to practice in the country where the Foreign Medical College is located, will be eligible to get NMC registration and practice as a doctor in India.

One option for Indian students to consider is an MBBS in Kazakhstan. There are several top medical colleges in the country, but students must also consider both the potential problems and challenges.

The Entrance Requirements

Students seeking an MBBS in Kazakhstan must meet NEET qualification standards and cutoffs. Once the student has applied, colleges and universities evaluate the applicant and grant seats in the program on a first-come basis. This means students must decide the school and complete the application quickly to avoid missing out on seats in the program for that academic year.

In addition to providing the required NEET examination results, the applicant must have a minimum of 50% PCB in 12th Class to apply for an MBBS in Kazakhstan. The student must have a valid passport and meet all requirements to obtain a visa to study in the country.

Students must also overcome the language issue. The two most common languages in the country are Kazakh and Russian, with few people speaking English. The addition of cold weather in the winter and lack of Indian foods and culture can make it difficult for students to adjust to living abroad in Kazakhstan.

Zordha Education provides students from India with the option to attend a medical school in the Caribbean rather than completing an MBBS in Kazakhstan. For more details, see us online
