When you tried to contact an organization to query a bill, request an installation or to complete a sale, it is completely annoying to receive a message saying that you are being held in a queue and that your call will be answered shortly. Experience tells us that we know that this means it may not be answered at all. The use of the most technologically advanced auto attendants would change this instantly.

When Queueing Is Part of The Experience

As more companies have moved from traditional switchboards being answered by a human, the new tradition is for an automated menu based phone system, complete with menu options to guide you through to an individual to speak to.

You are often told that the call is important to the organization, so why are they doing as little as possible to ensure that you complete your call successfully?

The use of auto attendants where you can speak naturally and tell the modern technology who you want to speak to on why is changing the way that companies can ensure that customers stay on the line and are put through to the individual of their choice.

Where Are You in The Queue?

Currently, you may be told that you are 3rd or 13th in the queue, but this does not help you to understand when your call may be answered. If you knew you were going to be speaking to an individual within 1 minute, you might decide to stay or if they tell you 5 minutes, you may have other better things to complete in the meanwhile and might be quite okay with trying again later.

When you can speak naturally with auto attendants and explain exactly what you want to know your call is going to be diverted to the right person with an individual that will be able to complete your call, there is an increased opportunity that your day will end successfully.
